Day1
Mysore

Upon arrival at Bangalore airport, meet assistance by our office representative, followed by transfer to Mysore. On arrival at Mysore, check in to hotel (normal check in time is 12 noon. early room subject to availability). Overnight at hotel in Mysore


Day2
Mysore

Breakfast at residing hotel.Proceed for full day Sightseeing Visit Maharajah's Palace, which graces the City's skyline and is one of the most beautiful buildings in India. Inside, you will find a kaleidoscope of stained glass, beautiful carved wooden doors and mosaic floors. Continue to the Zoological Gardens and Chamundi Temple, overlooking Mysore from the 1062 metre summit of Chamundi Hill. There will also be time to visit the Mysore Arts & Crafts CentreAfternoon Visit Srirangapatna Srirangapatna, the island fortress of Tipu Sultan and the early capital of the Mysore Wadiyars, is just 16km from Mysore city. Here you will find Tipu’s mosque with its twin minarets, the celebrated Ranganatha Swamy Temple, the Wellesley Bridge, and the dungeons where British officers were once imprisoned. Equally impressive is the ornate white‐domed Gumbaz, an imposing structure with doors of ebony inlaid with ivory and lacquered with Tipu’s tiger‐striped emblem. About 1km to the east of the fort is Tipu’s Summer Palace (known as the Daria Daulat Bagh) set amidst a lovely garden.

Ooty

After breakfast drive to Ooty. (125 kms/4.5 hours)The Nilgiri Mountain Railway, built by the British in 1908, and was initially operated by the Madras Railway. In July 2005, UNESCO added the Nilgiri Mountain Railway as an extension to the World Heritage Site of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, the site then became known as "Mountain Railways of India."Upon arrival check –in hotel.Afternoon visit Visit the Botanical Gardens, with a peaceful Lotus Pond then cover Dodda Betta. It is the highest peak of this hill resort.

Ooty

On the way to Dolphin's Nose, about 5½ km from Coonoor, lies Lamb's Rock, another point to view the fantastic landscape and the tea and coffee plantations. It is located at a distance of 8 kilometres from Coonoor.Dolphin's Nose Viewpoint is a tourist spot in Coonoor. Dolphin's Nose is well over 1,000 feet above sea level, 10 km from Coonoor and is a spectacular spot to visit.Afternoon Toy Train to Mettupalayam at 1400 -1700 hrs.Back to Ooty; Surface transfer from Mettupalayam to Ooty.

Cochin

Breakfast at residing hotelProceed to Cochin; 285 KMs ; 7-8 hrs drive.Cochin so called a metropolitan city in the federal state of Kerala, is one of the most popular city in India and also has the name the “Queen of Arabian Sea” as it was an important spice trading centre on the Arabian Sea coast from the 14th century.Evening at 17.00hrs visit, the famous dance drama of Kerala, the “Kathakali”. This dance can be characterized by grotesque gesticulations, amazing costumes and very extensive make-up. The stories are mostly taken from the epics Mahabharatha and Ramayana. Cochin

Breakfast at residing hotel.You will take for sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting - ‘The Jewish Synagogue’ at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town, ‘The Dutch Palace’ with mural paintings, ‘The St. Francis Church’ the oldest European Church in India and finally to the visit Chinese fishing nets.

Alleppey

Breakfast at residing hotel.Depart hotel at 1030 am to Alleppey. On reaching Alleppey, board your traditional houseboat to explore and enjoy the beauty of rural village life and backwaters.At 1200hrs embark a private House boat that is waiting to take you on a tour through the backwaters, a splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves. The population’s whole life takes place here on the water. The people sail, fish, swim and bathe here. They are so adapted to the water that you can see people talking for an hour, while they are up to their necks in water. Peddlers take care of the supplies and the public transport goes on the water. Countless water birds wait for their chance to catch a fish. The trip goes through a wonderful area of the lush green vegetation of Kerala backwater land.
