Day1
Cochin

Upon arrival at Cochin airport, meet assistance by our office representative, followed by transfer to Cochin hotel. Cochin so called a metropolitan city in the federal state of Kerala, is one of the most popular city in India and also has the name the “Queen of Arabian Sea” as it was an important spice trading centre on the Arabian Sea coast from the 14th century. On arrival check in to hotel (normal check in time is 12 noon…early room subject to availability). Evening witness the Kerala cultural programme.Overnight stay at hotel in Cochin

Cochin

Breakfast at residing hotel. Half day Cochin sightseeing With a relaxed start of the day, at 10am you will take for sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting - ‘The Jewish Synagogue’ at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town, ‘The Dutch Palace’ with mural paintings, ‘The St. Francis Church’ the oldest European Church in India and finally to the cochin boast Chinese fishing nets.

Munnar

Breakfast at residing hotel. Proceed to Munnar (145 Kms; 4 hrs drive), Munnar – “Nature lovers’ paradise” drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar, a popular getaway retreat. Surrounded by lush green tea estates, this picturesque hill station boosts of exotic flora and fauna. On arrival check into your hotel.

Morning after breakfast Munnar sightseeing Visit Tea museum: - The museum set up at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea in Munnar the Tata Tea Museum diligently portrays the growth of Munnar tea estates, veritably conveyed through some of the displays like the rudimentary tea roller to the modern fully automated tea factory. Visitors to the museum can satiate their curiosity on various stages of tea processing, and also learn a thing or two about the production of black tea.visit Eravikulam park The main inhabitant of the Eravikulam park is Nilgiri Tahr. Now the park has the largest known population of Tahrs existing in the world.

Thekkady

Breakfast at residing hotel.Depart hotel at 0900am and travel to Thekkady 03 hrs drive to cover around 110 kms; Reach Thekkady, Check –in your hotel.Thekkady, one of the best-known wild life Centres in India and picturesque with unending Chains of hills and spice-scented plantations.Evening Kalaripayattu Performance show

Morning go for Boating through the sanctuary The Periyar wild life sanctuary, the only one of such kind in India where one can have the experience of beholding wildlife at close quarters in natural habitat from the safety of a boat.After Breakfast at residing Hotel,   After Noon Spice Plantation tour, this trip covers spice plantations such as cardamom, pepper, vanilla, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, Ayurvedic herbs etc.

Kumarakom

Breakfast at residing hotel, proceed to Kumarakom, The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and is part of the Kuttanad region. The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres is a favourite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. Egrets, darters, herons, teals, waterfowls, cuckoo, wild duck and migratory birds like the Siberian Stork visit here in flocks and are a fascinate the visitors.On Arrival Check –in your Hotel, After Check-in go for day cruise in a Houseboat with Lunch Afternoon Board houseboat day cruise at Lakes & Lagoons Jetty.  After the introduction with the crews, the cruise starts.  Proceeds to C’ Block Kayal.  Anchor for lunch.  After lunch, cruise proceeds to Mancombu. Kumarakom

Breakfast at residing hotel.depart to visit the surrounding region in walking tour - visit local farms, temples and coir weaving the region is a hub of Kerala’s coir industry. The factories still practice the traditional method of extracting coir fiber from coconut husks. There are several factories manufacturing coir products such as, mats, matting and handicrafts.Afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Set in the Kerala Backwaters, the bird sanctuary is a favourite haunt of migratory birds. Developed in a rubber plantation as a bird sanctuary by Englishman George Alfred Baker, the sanctuary was formerly known as Baker’s Estate. The main attractions are local birds like waterfowl, cuckoo, owl, egret, heron, cormorant, moorhen, darter, and brahminy kite, as well as the migratory Siberian crane. Parrot, teal, lark, flycatcher, and other birds are seen here during their respective migratory seasons. Some of  the migratory birds come from the Himalayas, and a few from Siberia.
